Course Description
The objective of this seminar series is to train residents and clinicians participating in continuing professional development in the skills required to implement the APTA Orthopedics Clinical Practice Guidelines at a high level. In essence, it will be 12 days of fast-paced, high-level skill-building.

Session 1 – Low Back
- Day 1: Pelvic Girdle / Clinical Reasoning using the ICF
- Day 2: Lumbar Spine / Low Back Examination - demystified
- Day 3: Lumbopelvic Region / Low Back Pain - diagnosis and management
Session 2 – Lower Extremities
- Day 4: Buttock & Hip / Observational Gait Analysis
- Day 5: Thigh & Knee / Integrating Manual Therapy and Movement
- Day 6: Leg, Ankle & Foot / Lower Quarter Gait Biomechanics
Session 3 – Head, Neck, and Mid Back
- Day 7: Thoracic Spine & Ribs / Management of Mobility Deficits
- Day 8: Thoracic & Cervical Spine / Neck Pain - diagnosis and management
- Day 9: Cervical Spine / Manual Therapy and Exercise for Cervicogenic Headache
