APTA Orthopedics Introduces
Digital Clinical Practice Guideline-Based Tools through PhysioU
APTA Orthopedics has collaborated with PhysioU, an education technology leader in clinical reasoning and decision-making tools for physical therapy, to provide easy access to Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) content and tools for our members. This collaboration, initiated by APTA Orthopedics, reflects our proactive commitment to delivering new and innovative resources to our members—resources that align with the future of guideline-based practice.

Interactive Clinical Practice Guidelines
This interactive course provides clinicians with a practical, evidence-based approach to implementing musculoskeletal Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) across body regions. Using real-world scenarios and region-specific modules, learners will strengthen their clinical reasoning, decision-making, and guideline application skills. This course moves beyond foundational principles to help participants integrate best-practice recommendations into everyday patient care.

- Decision-making tool that guides guideline-based differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal impairments
- Helps users interpret patient history, assess tissue irritability, and rule in/out competing diagnoses
- Supports red flag screening, prioritization of functional impairments, and structured treatment planning
- Enhances clinical reasoning, helping practitioners confidently assess and plan care
