Program Overview
Advance your career and strengthen the future of orthopedic physical therapy. This 6-month mentorship program pairs student members and early career professionals with experienced PT mentors to share knowledge, build professional connections, and support growth in clinical practice.
✓ Duration: 6-month formal mentorship program
✓ Kickoff: In-person meeting at CSM 2026 (virtual option available for those not attending in person)
✓ Meetings: Connect virtually each month using your preferred method (Zoom, Teams, email, etc.)
✓ Professional Growth: Mentees gain guidance and support; mentors help shape the next generation of orthopedic PTs
✓ Journal Club: Virtual discussion of current research articles
✓ Application Deadline: Dec. 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM CT
Eligibility:
Mentees: Open to second and third year DPT students, PTA students, and early career professionals in their first 3 years of practice
Mentors: Open to practicing members of APTA Orthopedics
