Physical therapist specializing in small animal rehab. Sasha integrates human PT expertise into veterinary care and has built rehabilitation programs used in critical care, orthopedics, neurology, and oncology. She is an author, educator, and advocate, empowering veterinary teams and pet owners to improve mobility, function, and quality of life for animals worldwide.

Guest: Karen Atlas, PT, MPT, CCRT,

Karen Atlas, PT, MPT, CCRT, is the founder of Atlas Rehabilitation for Canines (ARC) in Santa Barbara, CA. After 12 years in human physiotherapy, she shifted her focus to animal rehabilitation when her own dog was injured. Karen has since become a leader in advancing canine physical therapy through evidence-based care and education. She teaches with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, co-authored a chapter in Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, and founded the Animal Physical Therapy Coalition (APTC) to promote collaboration and access to care.

Guest: Kirk Peck, PT, PhD, CSCS, CCRT

Associate Professor at Creighton University and certified in equine and canine rehabilitation. Dr. Peck treats humans, dogs, and horses, teaches global rehab courses, and serves as a leader in animal PT education. He is past President of the Animal PT SIG and actively contributes to research, teaching, and advocacy in veterinary and human rehab.
