Overall Meeting Objectives

Program Objectives

  • Discuss, and interpret the process of evaluating runners, athletes and walkers; and identifying pertinent knee, foot and ankle impairments that require intervention in these populations.
  • Explain the evidence supporting shoulder pain classification, surgical and non-surgical treatment decision making for shoulder dysfunction.
  • Utilize high-speed video analysis and apply training strategies to correct common knee and ankle movement and loading deficits related to running injuries
  • Participate in and practice hands-on clinical skill acquisition during small breakout sessions.
