Post-professional Graduate Programs

The programs listed via the link below provide post-professional graduate educational degree programs for physical therapists at the advanced clinical doctoral degree (eg, DScPT, DHSc, DPTSc), advanced masters degree (e.g., Interdisciplinary Advanced Clinical Science MS) and certificate (eg, Geriatrics Certificate, Certification in Manual Therapy) levels. The degrees offered are housed in institutions that either have physical therapist degree programs or associated with a physical therapist degree program.

Some degrees may not necessarily be restricted to physical therapist applicants. The listing of post-professional graduate degree programs may not be all inclusive as programs are developed or revised or because APTA has not been notified of the existence of a program. Additional information about these programs may be obtained by contacting the program director or contact name listed.

To provide information about new post-professional advanced graduate degree programs available in physical therapy or to revise current information, please contact Courtney Merritt courtneymerritt@apta.org or call 800/999-2782, ext 3208.

Disclaimer: Inclusion on this list of programs does not indicate approval by APTA or the accreditation of these programs of study by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
